If you read my Search Insider column today, you know I've been on a Top Ten list kick of late. You can also imagine what a dolt I felt like publishing the "Top Ten Ways to Use Search Data Beyond SEM" on the same day the Yahoo Microsoft search deal was announced. BingooToday Yahoo announced that Q2 earnings were up slightly year-over-year but revenue was down (as was the stock in after-hours trading) leading to a reprise of speculation over a potential search deal with Microsoft.

I'm quoted in today's MediaPost Online Media Daily commenting on the implications of recent data showing gains in search market share for Bing. I'd like to give some additional context for my POV and expand on it a bit.
